Gaz66, Engineering Module

Midi Box Gaz, WINCH!

AGAIN VERY LOW MILEAGE! And remember all trucks go through our workshops, and fully overhauled where required.

Produced by the Million, and used by our foes. They are extremely reliable medium size workhorses. Manufactured in Nizhmy Novogorod, Southern Russia. Production 1964 to late 1980's.

These are fantastic small trucks. Ever tried starting a forward control Land Rover V8 when left warm for a while. Yes, you will need. Several copies of the Koran, an Izzy Wizzy stick, and a big enough battery to power a milk float through the Khyber pass. With the Gaz, they were first designed for the military use and not adapted from a Meccano set. With production in the million, fitted with that silky smooth Gaz ZMZ V8, you don't get any problems here!!!

The one pictured is again collectable midi box unit, pictures are scarce at the moment as its new to stock. And has extremely rare winch powered directly from the engine. These are quite often removed by the military.

The engine is multi-fuel (see FAQ S) and so can be very cheap to run. In the cab there is a air filtration box for the rear interior, and slung underneath is a unused Eberspacher type compartment heater to keep you warm when picnicking off the beaten track. You have normal style caravan plugs at the rear should you want to use for towing.

Some Gaz trucks will have more windows in, but they are not that common. Although its quite easy to fit more windows. So don't let that put you off.

Don't worry about spares, I carry most. The nice thing about Russian trucks is where possible they keep all components the same. So for example wheels nuts are standard no matter what the size of truck even the Monster Maz uses the same. Spark plugs are the same on all trucks, and so on.
