President Roosevelt leased Mr Stalin thousands of GMC during the last war. And those cheeky Russians copied the truck but inproved as well.

If you ever have the pleasure in owning a Russian truck, never compere them to their cars. They are not very good, but the trucks are second to none. The Zil157 was Russia's first and most popular military truck. In fact its probably the most longest production of truck ever, and its still being produced in China, some 65 years.

This one is by far the cleanest I've seen, and was one of the last versions sold from the Czech forces under Communist control. If you can fix a moggy minor then you can maintain these with your eyes closed and both hands tied to the rear door.

What I noticed that always backs up its credentials are the little things, look at the picture of the rear hitch. You can't fake old grease protection. That hitch looks like its never been used, and still has grease from the factory.

They make ideal camper or motor home, going to places other trucks wouldn't dare.
